Toronto 25–30 OctToronto is about to get a glass court in a shopping concourse. The fifth Canadian Women's Open runs 25 to 30 October 2026 at the Allen Lambert Galleria in Brookfield Place, on the see-through Jonathon Power court. It is a PSA World Tour Silver event, with the Toronto Athletic Club Open for men alongside it, and it leads into the US Open in Philadelphia.
Defending champion Amina Orfi won last year without dropping a game; earlier winners were Weaver (2022), Sobhy (2023) and Gilis (2024). Reports also say Mostafa Asal and Amina Orfi were crowned 2026 world champions, but I did not confirm the date or venue. This week's PSA results and the rankings were not verified.

Squash is played by two players in a four-walled court, taking turns to hit a small rubber ball against the front wall above a line. The ball may hit other walls first but must not bounce twice before being returned.
Games go to 11 points with a point scored on every rally (point-a-rally), and a match is usually the best of five. A player must win by two clear points.
The professional circuit is run by the Professional Squash Association (PSA). Squash joined the Olympic programme for Los Angeles 2028.
